"Use the latest technologies and training to deliver effective, efficient and cost justified fire and emergency services to the residents of out Fire District. Be prepared to offer assistance to our neighboring Fire districts as needed." Founded in 1948, the HHFD serves the residential and rural community in the Northwest portion of the town of Onondaga in Cental New York. The Fire District is mostly all served by hydrant delivered water with good water pressure given the hilly terrain within which the District resides. Responing on average to 400+ alarms a year, including a mix of emergency medical, motor vehicle accidents and structure fires, oftentimes firefighters will make haste to an emergency in this 1988 E-One Sidemount Pumper. E3 is the first due Engine at all in-District structure fires and runs back-up to out of district calls as needed. With its short turning radius, this truck is extrememly flexible and maneuberable. It carries a crew of eight, has a 750-gallon tank, a 1,500 g.p.m. pump, carries 2,000 feet of 5-inch hose and is equipped with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
