MGB Roadster in Bronze Yellow, Limited Edition of 1200
The Corgi range of Vanguards die-cast models represents vehicles that shaped the lives of people living in Britain from the post-war period to the present day. Each 1:43 scale model is presented in a branded box and comes with a limited edition certificate. The Vanguards range covers a wide variety of vehicles – iconic road cars, commercial vans, police cars and classic motorsport.

The car modelled is a famous press and publicity vehicle, photographed on 30th August 1972, and is reproduced as it was that day. The pictures appeared in brochures, newspapers, books and other publicity material. However, research by The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust shows that the number plate AKO 181L appeared on many other BL publicity cars.
