    Company History 1921- Founded by Richard Sieperin in Ludenscheid
    Germany.1943- Second production facility was opened in Hilchenbach, Siegerland.  Today
    this factory makes high-quality products such as small furniture and technical products
    from plastics.
 1950- The brand name SIKU, an abbreviated name for Sieper Kunststoffe was created.
    A range of toys consisting of 16 figures and farm animals was shown at the first toy fair
    at Nuremberg.
 1955- Presentation of the first SIKU models vehicles in 1/60 scale.
 1963- Toy production changed from plastic to metal.
 1984- Purchased Wiking Modele of Berlin. Today Wiking produces authentic models of
    vehicles in HO (1:87) and N-scale (1:160).
 SIKU today- Today's range offers hundreds of models making SIKU a 
	market leader in many
    parts of the world.
 At present, very few SIKU 
	toys are available in the United States due to ASTM import regulations.
